2021 – Annual Report Instruction Form.
Many of our clients are receiving solicitations from third party servicers to file their CT annual reports for a fee. While the annual report filing is mandatory, it is a simple process and can be completed on your own. Please note that the fees for the annual report filings did increase on July 1, 2020, so it is important that you check to make sure you are up-to-date once a year. Failure to file annual reports on a timely basis can result in a failure to obtain a Certificate of Legal Existence (Good Standing) for your business.
To check if you are in good standing, simply go to the following website: C.O.N.C.O.R.D (ct.gov). You can do a search to find your business and click on your business name. Within the business details section, you will see a line that reads, “Last Report Filed Year.” You can also view your filing history on the bottom right-hand button of the screen.
If you need to file your annual report, you will need to create an account and log in at the following address: Commercial Recording Division (ct.gov)
